soon enough

who would have thought
a year have past so quickly
it seemed to me like yesterday
we went there to send them off
and in few days time
it's our turn to pack our things
and make our way home

it seemed to me like yesterday
when we started our journey
and it seems to me real soon
that we're leaving for good

back to the reality
although we might be fragile
although we are still uncertain
there are hopes
and there are fears

the struggle
is to remember what we knew
and to practise what we've learnt
